Uruaù - a large food basket in the local language - is a small fishing village on the ocean still unknown to most people, that lies along the white beach, next to amazing dunes, with the famous lake and the spectacular lagoon. Here you can relax walking on the huge beach, and have exciting rides on the dunes on the legendary buggy or kitesurf plowing through the waves.
It is about 90 km south of Fortaleza, capital of Cearà, a state of the Northeastern Brazilian heart. Today Cearà has become one of the main gateways for European tourists, attracted by the beautiful beaches, good reception facilities, by the friendly and lively people, and favored by the modern Fortaleza international airport (just an hour and a half drive from Uruaù)
